In this study conducted by Dr. Bhoopat Bhati, a prominent urologist, the efficacy of Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) with Thulium Fiber Laser (TLF) in the treatment of an 18 mm left pelvic stone is examined. The patient, a 44-year-old male, was admitted with abdominal pain, and a CT Urography revealed the presence of the stone. Further CT reconstruction confirmed the dilated pelvis and the stone's location. This study explores the use of RIRS as a daycare procedure to provide optimal outcomes and minimal invasiveness.
